The SHS work immersion program aims to develop competitiveness, competencies, work ethic, resilience, adaptability and real time work experiences to the learners by working side by side with the work force in an actual workplace setting relevant what they wish to pursue in the future.
Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar first expressed his appreciation to Dr. Arlene P. Ablog, LHS Principal of ISPSC and Mrs. Florence D. Sembrano, SHS Coordinator/Work Immersion Teacher as well as the staff of ISPSC for placing their trust to the Local Government Unit of Burgos to be one of the instruments for the growth of the students. Mayor Boy also pointed out that he and the LGU as a whole will always welcome students that are willing to undergo the said program with high hopes for a brighter future as he emphasized that the time will definitely come where they will be the ones in charge of the future.
Vice Mayor Riolita R. Balbalan shared how confident she is that the students have gained a lot of the necessary skillset that they will need in their journey forward as long as they continue to practice and improve those skills, always be humble and hungry to learn. Vice Mayor assured that they will reach greater heights.
Mrs. Irene D. Galimba, Administrative Officer IV then presented the 16 hardworking students that undergo the said program with a message reminding them to cherish everything that they have gained in their stay with the LGU and continue to work on their weakness and improve their individual strengths for these are just a few of what they’ll need in the future.
SBM Christopher S. Belen, Committee Chair on Education also expressed his appreciation to the whole of ISPSC for the confidence placed in them to guide the students for 10 days or 80 hours to help them develop as an individual and grow as a team player for both those characteristics are vital and necessary when their time comes.
