In support of the continuous growth and development of the agricultural sector, the Local Government Unit of Burgos, Ilocos Sur headed by Mayor Annabelle Filart Escobar through the Municipal Agriculture Office, LGU-Burgos, Ilocos Sur facilitated the Distribution of Various Farm Inputs to the registered rice farmers of the Municipality, through the assistance of The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur headed by Governor Jeremias Jerry Singson and Vice Governor Ryan Luis V. Singson, in partnership with the Provincial Agriculture Office.

The activity was attended by Municipal Mayor Annabelle F. Escobar, together with Vice Mayor Riolita R. Balbalan, Committee Chair on Agriculture Ben Marius Gabriel F. Escobar, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, personnel from the Provincial Agriculture Office represented by Assistant Provincial Agriculturist Engr. Reginald I. Yadao, and the farmer-beneficiaries.

A total of 1,018 registered rice farmers of Burgos, Ilocos Sur who cultivate agricultural lands measuring one-half hectare and above received essential farm inputs aimed at supporting their farming activities and improving rice production. The distributed assistance included Amo, foliar fertilizers, hybrid rice seeds, and 14-14-14 fertilizer to help farmers enhance crop productivity and ensure better harvest outcomes.
