Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced workers (TUPAD) Orientation and Distribution of PPEs and Vegetable seeds.

Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced workers (TUPAD) is a community-based emergency employment program that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployment, and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of ten (10) days.

The Public Employment Service Office conducted an orientation to 163 TUPAD beneficiaries from the 26 barangays in the Municipality of Burgos, Ilocos Sur who will be working for ten (10) days at Php 400 per day through community cleaning, disinfection & gulayan sa barangay amongst others in their respective barangays.

Our supportive Municipal Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar congratulates the beneficiaries for they have been chosen to apply under this emergency employment and wholeheartedly extends his gratitude to Deputy Speaker, Kristine Singson-Meehan for granting these TUPAD slots to the Municipality along with farm inputs (Vegetable seeds) to each beneficiary of the program.
