The Local Government Unit of Burgos, Ilocos Sur headed by Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar, together with the Municipal Officials headed by Vice Mayor Riolita R. Balbalan, the Municipal Employees, the 26 Punong Barangays and SK Chairpersons, all the school heads of burgos, the CSOs led by CSO President, Mrs. Annabelle F. Escobar, all the Child Development Workers, personnel of PNP-Burgos led by OIC-COP PCPT. Melvin G Trinidad and personnel of BFP-Burgos led by MFM SFO4 Antonio T Rigunay joined the nation in the commemoration of the 126th years of liberation rooted from our heroes resiliency and love for our country.

Burgos, Ilocos Sur celebrated with a Wreath Laying Ceremony for Father Burgos and Flag Raising Ceremony, honoring our independence with pride and joy, as we remind ourselves of the valor of our forefathers who took the high road and relentlessly fought without fear for our freedom today.

Our heroes may be gone, but their legacy will carry on with us and onto the future generations as we continue to honor their role that shaped the foundation of the history of our country.
