The Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) is a progressive system that gives distinction to remarkable local government performance across several areas according to the DILG. Through the exceptional leadership of our Mayor Hon. Nathaniel D. Escobar and Vice Mayor Riolita R. Balbalan with the full support and cooperation of everybody, LGU-Burgos has pushed its way through and earned a seat as one of the awardees for this year 2022.

Next to that, the MDRRM Office led by Mr. Revjohn D. Dalit, LDRRMO II also received the Gawad KALASAG (KAlamidad at sakuna LAbanan, SAriling Galing ang Kaligtasan) Seal of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils and Offices award during the 22nd Gawad KALASAG National Awarding Ceremony garnering a rating of 1.67 declaring our Municipality as Fully Compliant.

And third, with the resiliency of the Municipal Health Office, headed by Dr. Edgardo C. Rante, the Municipality of Burgos received the Bannuar iti Salun-At Award for their invaluable contribution in the attainment of the COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign.

As what Mayor Escobar always says “Saanko maaramid amin dagitoy no awan kayo a sumup-suporta kaniak”. Mayor Escobar continues to humbly thanks everyone “anything is attainable, anything is achievable with the help of each and everyone who works as a team, and as family, Ayos Burgos! Rock and Roll to the world!”
