The objective of the event is to feature the importance of understanding disaster risk while strengthening the disaster risk governance and investing and enhancing disaster risk reduction and preparedness for effective response for resilience.

The LGU thru the MDRRMC headed by MDRRM Chairman/Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar joins the said event thru the Local Emergency Response Team headed by Mr. Dan Alfred E. Romero with the theme: “BIDAng Pilipino: Building a Stronger Filipino Well-being towards Disaster Resilience” and joined the 2023 NDRM Motorcade conducted by the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur headed by Gov. Jeremias C. Singson thru the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council on July 1, 2023.
