the Local Government Unit of Burgos, Ilocos Sur headed by Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members headed by Vice Mayor Riolita R. Balbalan recognizes the role of the youth in nation-building. To serve as support, motivation and encouragement to the youth of Burgos, Ilocos Sur, The LGU conducted the said event to provide educational assistance to the selected students to help ease their financial needs

Mayor Boy firmly believes that our youth is our future as he fully supports education and he gives high credits to all our teachers, professors and educators. Mayor boy wishes our youth to be taught well, because one day it will be their turn to lead the way.

Mr. John Rich Pantaleon, one of the beneficiaries and a graduate of BS in Tourism Management expressed his gratitude to the LGU for the educational assistance and acknowledged the impact it has made for him and his family’s finances.

The said event was conducted by Mrs. Irene D. Galimba, Administrative Officer IV / HRMO together with the staff of the Municipal Mayor’s Office.
