As the backbone of the Philippines, the Local Government Unit of Burgos headed by Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar thru the Municipal Agriculture Office headed by Mr. Jojo A. Ayson, Municipal Agriculturist I, together with the DA-RFO 1 and PGIS provided Agricultural Development Assistance to our Local Rice Farmers within the Municipality in a form of Farm Inputs and Farm Machineries.

The DA-RFO 1 provided Rice seeds (Hybrid and Inbred) and the PGIS supplied Hybrid Rice seeds, Foliar Fertilizer and Soil Conditioner and the LGU distributed Fertilizers, Plant Growth Enhancer, Foliar Fertilizer, Soil Conditioner, Drying Net, and Four-Wheel Tractor with front dozer and heavy-duty trailer, Hand Tractor

All farm Inputs were distributed to the registered rice farmers while the farm machineries are for each Farmers Association in the Municipality. (Vanjourg C. Arreola)
