The Local Government Unit of Burgos, Ilocos Sur headed by Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar thru the Municipal Agriculture Office headed by Mr. Jojo A. Ayson, Municipal Agriculturist together with the staff of the Municipal Agriculture Office conducted the said event to distribute farm inputs (Hybrid Rice Seed, Fertilizers, Soil Conditioner and Plant Growth Enhancers) to all of the 2,000 registered rice farmers of the Municipality.

Mayor Boy fully agrees that agriculture is and always will be the backbone of our beloved nation as it plays a significate role in our economy. As Mayor Boy appreciates and recognizes all the hard work that each and every farmer goes through on a daily basis, he is wholeheartedly ready to provide as much assistance to the farmers of the Burgos community.

Mr. Ferdinand D. Domaoa, President of the Farmer’s Association expressed his gratitude to the LGU for always supporting the farmers of the Municipality.
