The Local Government Unit of Burgos, Ilocos Sur headed by Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar conducted the said event together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Mrs. Roselin A. Atendido for the twenty-one (21) affected hog raisers resulting to a vast loss in their source of income.

through Resolution No. 163 s. 2023 also known as the resolution granting financial assistance to affected hog raisers in the Municipality of Burgos, Ilocos Sur die to African Swine Fever (ASF) Outbreak sponsored by Hon. Ben Marius Gabriel F. Escobar, committee chairman on Agriculture.
