Municipal Ordinance No. 6, dated Nov. 8, 2021, to take effect on January 1, 2022, was enacted as a means of improving the well-being of the inhabitants of Burgos, Ilocos Sur who are bed-ridden or blind and those with chronic illness undergoing chemotherapy or dialysis. This will be in the form of financial assistance of PhP 6,000.00 per individual to be distributed at PhP 3,000.00 each semester (June & December).

The distribution to the 49 recipients for the First Semester was done by the Municipal Officials headed by Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar and Vice Mayor Riolita R. Balbalan with Mrs. Roselin A. Atendido, MSWDO I, on June 29, 2022. (Vanjourg C. Arreola)
