The Local Government Unit of Burgos headed by Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar together with the Municipal Officials led by Vice Mayor Riolita R. Balbalan thru the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Mrs. Roselin A. Atendido, MSWD Officer conducted the said event at the Municipal Civic Center on August 13, 2024 for the 149 PWDs of the Municipality.

SBM Ben Marius Gabriel F. Escobar, Comm. Chairperson on Social Services provided a simple message regarding the importance of taking care of our family members who are PWDs and to never treat them any less, for like any other person, our PWDs also deserve the love and care we can give.

during the said event, a total of four thousand pesos was distributed to each of the 149 PWDs of Burgos, Ilocos Sur.
