The Local Government Unit of Burgos, Ilocos Sur headed by Mayor Nathaniel D. Escobar thru the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Mrs. Roselin A. Atendido, MSWDO conducted the joint moving up ceremony for the children from the 25 Childhood Care and Development Centers of Burgos, Ilocos Sur at the Municipal Covered Court.

SBM Christopher S. Belen, Committee Chair on Education first and foremost congratulated the children of every ECCD that are participating in the moving up ceremony as he acknowledged the dedication given by every Child Development Worker (CDW) the necessary teachings to serve as the first step for the children.

SBM Ben Marius Gabriel F. Escobar, adding recognition to the CDWs of Burgos, Ilocos Sur for molding the foundation of the children as he encourages the parents or guardians of the children to continue to give their love, attention and support that they need.

Vice Mayor, Rio, gives appreciation to all CDWs, not just from Burgos, Ilocos Sur for their extreme effort in serving as the second parent to the pure minded children, as a mother herself, she personally understands both the hardships and how rewarding it can be to teach children and to give them inspiration.

Mayor Boy, congratulated both the children and parent/guardian as well as the CDWs that are part of the said event. As a father and grandfather, Mayor Boy fully understands that every parent only has the best intentions for their child as he urges the parents and guardians to don’t let the learning stop instead do everything in their power to strengthen the eagerness of their children to learn.

The said event was conducted by Mrs. Roselin A. Atendido and the staff of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
