The LGU headed by Mayor “Boy” Escobar extends his sincerest appreciation to the silent heroes who unselfishly donated blood as their kindness and generosity has made a world a better place. Our Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Edgardo C. Rante and staff together with the Philippine Red Cross successfully collected a total of 68 bags of blood in which will be used to save lives.

Mrs. Marie Fe T. Cabreros, Nurse I of the MHO explained that you are actually also helping yourself when you regularly donate blood as this can also benefit you by helping lower the risk of a heart attack and also lower your blood pressure. Which is why she and the rest of the staff of the said department would like to encourage the regular blood donors to keep it up and for others to also be a blood hero.

As they stated during the activity, “Dugong alay mo, Karugtong ng Buhay ko”.
